Plans to convert Cross Keys Inn to a supermarket recommended for refusal

A Bedworth pub that looked destined for closure could be saved as plans to replace it with a supermarket and possibly a takeaway are set to be refused. The proposal to bulldoze the Cross Keys Inn in Goodyers End Lane and use part of the land for a Co-op go before Nuneaton and Bedworth planning committee on Tuesday.

Hundreds sign petition about plans to convert pub to supermarket

Hundreds of people have signed a petition to stop a Bedworth pub from being turned into a supermarket. They have united against the plans to transform the Cross Keys pub on the corner of Goodyers End Lane and Bowling Green Lane into a new Co-op and another smaller unit.
