In December 2010 Tesco and land-owner Heathcote submitted a reserved matters application to Nottingham City Council for a huge mixed-use development on the Eastside site in Nottingham. Tesco is planning a 122,526 sq ft store and there will also be a 1,421 sq ft community centre, a six-storey 25,209 sq ft office block, space for 755 parked cars as part of the scheme.
