Residents and City Councillors for Sewell are fighting an appeal by Roger Rush, who owns the building, against the refusal on the grounds that the site is in a defined local centre, and that the “proposed site access, servicing and parking arrangements or the movement of people will not have a significant adverse impact on the amenity of neighbouring residents.”

 

 

Swaffham, Norfolk

 

In Swaffham a developer, Millngate, hopes to build the new supermarket on the EcoTech Business Park, off Castle Acre Road. Millngate exchanged contracts to buy the site from Breckland Council in 2011.

Millngate and Tesco held an exhibition of the plans at end January 2012.
