Residents and businesses have set up a petition against a proposal by the Co-operative Food to open a 300sq ft store in a car repair shop in Burnley Road, Dollis Hill.

More than 1,000 people have signed the petition against the plans.

The Co-operative Food have leafleted households in the area and held a public consultation to highlight their plans.

 

Ealing, London

In 2014 a new campaign group #NoToTesco #SaveEalingGreen was set up to oppose plans to change the former Oporto/Eatalian's restaurant on St Mary's Road - which now lies empty - into a supermarket convenience store.

Objections to the plans focus on both the location and concern over potential traffic problems caused by delivery lorries.
