The Say No to New Supermarket Developments in Shoreham campaign organised a public meeting on 28th June 2012 to discuss plans for a supermarket in the town. The main speaker was Keith Taylor, Green MEP for the south east region.

Morrisons submits planning application

Quora Developments Ltd and Morrisons have submitted their planning application to Adur District Council for a mixed use development on the section of Brighton Road, Shoreham, currently occupied by Frosts Garage and Minelco Chemicals.

Plans approved

Councillors approved plans to turn the Green jacket pub in Upper Shoreham Road, Shoreham, into a Tesco outlet. The store submitted applications for alterations to the building, including installation of a cash point, a new shop front, installation of fascia signs, installation of bollards and installation of plant equipment.
