Campaigning to curb supermarket power

Magor, Monmouthshire

More than 100 people and organisations objected to plans to build a new Tesco convenience store in Undy. Tesco applied to demolish existing buildings at Undy Service Station on the B4245.

Objections focused on inadequate parking, congestion and fears the new store would undermine the central shopping area in Magor.
